The Production

Deverakis Farm applies the highest of farming standards, fully abiding by the rules and regulations set by the European Union regarding the production of agricultural products and foods.

Pistachio trees require special treatment in order to grow as they are quite sensitive, especially to drought.
In Deverakis Farm, we water them during the filling of the fruit, from June to August, and prune them late in winter, before they fully bloom.
The fertilization of the trees is also very important for the completion of the soil's natural fertility, as it ensures that the trees get the necessary nutrients on time and in sufficient quantities and proportionate to their needs.

The harvest of the fruits, that pistachio trees offer every 2 years, is done using the latest methods and special equipment such as the electric vibrators, that shake the fruits off the trees.
